What happens on a copier installation?

Is it time for a new copier? Make your next one a CopyLady copier!

Good Day, blog readers! Are you thinking about getting a CopyLady copier? Excellent! Read this post to learn more about the entire process of a copier delivery!

A copier delivery is more than just plopping a copy machine in a random place in your office. A delivery consists of many steps to get your office up and running on your new equipment! From getting the copier onto your network to getting everyone in the office set up to print and scan!

Here, we will list out the total steps that happen during a CopyLady copier delivery:

DOCUMENT SIGNING: Our sales manager will send you a proposal, which outlines the details of the machine that you will be receiving, along with a leasing agreement for you to sign and send back in. This can be done physically on paper, or electronically. Take note that if you do decide to do e-signature, you will need to also submit what is known as the tracking, or signature audit. If you are leasing a CopyLady copier through a third-party leasing company, there will be two sets of documents to sign. Once you return the signed agreement, that’s where the ball really starts rolling.

PREPARATION: Your new copier undergoes rigorous testing by our highly trained experts. We make 100% sure that your copier is ready to give you highly dependable service! Our installation team will reach out to you to do what is called a pre-install. This allows us to gain information about your location, such as where the machine will be set up, how many people will be printing to this machine, as well as setting up scanning. We also work with you on a date and time that is best for us to deliver your new machine. Our team will then pre-load all of your preferred email addresses to your new copier, ensuring that it is ready for you!

DELIVERY: Once the testing and preparation is complete, and delivery day is here, Our technicians load your new machine onto the delivery truck, and makes their way over to your location. Upon arrival, the technician will unload your new machine, then meet with you. You can lead the technician to the location where the machine will be set up. If we are picking up a machine, the tech will prepare the old machine for removal. The machine is then connected to your network, and configured to your network’s setup. In the case of upgrading or replacing a machine, we will utilize the same network configuration (IP Address, etc) that the original machine had.

After the machine is connected to your network, the tech will visit each of your workstations in turn to install the required print drivers, and ensure that printing is working properly. The tech will also ensure that all requested scanning features are operational, as are any other extras, such as account codes, card readers, etc.

TRAINING: After the equipment is delivered, the tech will conduct a comprehensive training session on the operation of the machine. This includes the basic functions, as well as explaining the features of the machine. You will also receive training on clearing paper jams, replacing toners, and the proper way to load paper.

CLEAN UP: The tech will then clean up after the delivery, including removing all boxes and wrappers related to the copier. If existing equipment is to be collected, a final reading page is printed, then the machine is loaded onto the delivery van for removal.

That is everything that makes a CopyLady delivery unique from any other delivery.
